Card Security

The new Companion Card includes the following security features:

Clear Core Plastic/Clear Window on left side (new):

This substrate is not readily available and is unable to be replicated.
Gold Metallic "C" logo printed in clear window:

This has a metallic finish which is only achieved in the screen print process and will be lost if copied on digital printers, scanners, copiers, etc.
Pearlescent Highlight Super Blue design on card front:

This ink is not readily available and is unable to be copied on digital printers, scanners, copiers, etc as the shimmer type effect will be lost.
"Companion Card" written in shadow text in background:

If copied on digital printers, scanners, copiers, etc the shadow effect wil fade and almost disappear.
UV "C" logo (new):

This secret security feature cannot be detected on the card unless viewed under a UV light.
Fine line print:

Design element using fine geometric patterns that make it extremely difficult to reproduce the card using desk top scanners and thermal printers.
Metallic Inks:

Not reproducible by desktop printers.
Microprint text (new):

"Companion Card" is written in micro text, which borders the cardholder photo.
